32 Phone Basics • Do not crush, puncture, short external contacts, or dispose of in fire or water. • Do not expose to temperatures above 140oF (60oC). • Replace only with the battery pack designated for this product. • Recycle or dispose of used battery as stipulated by local regulations. To install the battery 1. Align the battery's exposed copper contacts with the battery connectors inside the battery compartment. 2. Insert the contact side of the battery first then gently push the battery into place. 3. Replace the back cover. Battery contacts To remove the battery 1. Make sure your phone is turned off. 2. Remove the back cover. 3. Lift out the battery from the notches at the upper right and left sides of the battery compartment. Lift up from here
