PERIPHERAL CONNECTION AND CONTROLS PERIPHERAL CONNECTION FRONT CONTROL 0 O * • I I 9 Q 0 LINE-Oirr, HDMI1 INPUT MENU VOL+ VOL- CH+ CH- POWER Item escri . tion 1 Optical Out Connect a optical audio cable from a sound bar, stereo system, receiver, etc. 2L R Connect the audio cables for a component or composite device. 3 VIDEO 4 YPbPr Connect the video cable for a composite device. Connect the video cables for a component device. 5 Line Out The output can be connected to a loudspeaker box or an external audio amplifier with a power amplifier. HDMI1 Connect HDMI devices to these HDMI2 6 HDMI3 jacks. An HDMI cable carries both video and sound. You do not need to make an audio connection for an HDMI device. Note:The HDMI4 HDMI4(MHL) port is MHL enabled. 7 RF Connect an antenna or cable TV cable to this jack. 8 USB Insert a USB storage device to the USB port to view JPEG photos, and listen to MP3 music. (See page 16 for more information.) 1 INPUT 2 MENU 3 VOL+ 4 VOL5 CH+ 6 CH- 7 POWER Press to select the input source. Press the VOL+ button to change to the selected input source. Press to open or close the on-screen menu. Press to increase the volume level. Press to decrease the volume level. Press to go to the next channel in the channel list. Press to go to the previous channel in the channel list. Press to turn the TV on or off (standby mode). When the TV is off, power still flows through it. To completely disconnect power, unplug the power cord. 8
