840188401 ENv02.qxd:Layout 1 11/16/09 2:29 PM Page 7 Care and Cleaning Follow this procedure monthly to avoid mineral deposits and buildup, which can affect the steaming performance of the unit. 1 Make sure unit is unplugged. 1 Cup (250 ml) White 2 Vinegar 1 Cup (250 ml) Water Mix a solution of one cup white vinegar and one cup water. 3 Slowly pour the solution into the water tank and replace the cap. 4 Replace water tank onto steamer. 5 Turn the unit ON and let the liquid solution steam out of the steam handle/nozzle. 6 Repeat this process with clean water until vinegar odor is no longer present. 7 Reassemble steamer for storage. Wrap cord around the cord wrap on bottom of steamer. 7
