Wash oven rack and baking pan in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry. 3. To clean the crumb tray, slide out and wipe crumb tray with a damp cloth. Slide back into position. 4. To clean the outside of the oven, wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. NOTE: Select models are continuous self-clean. Cleaning the interior oven walls is not necessary on those models. Crumb Tray Recipes Baked Potatoes 2 medium baking potatoes, about 10-ounces (285 g) each Wash potatoes then pierce skin with a fork. Place potatoes on baking pan and place in 425ºF (220ºC) oven. Bake for 1 hour or until done. Do not wrap in aluminum foil as this may increase cooking times. Roast Chicken To roast a whole chicken in the oven, it must be 4 pounds or smaller. Roast chicken at 350ºF (180ºC) for 21⁄2 hours or to an internal temperature of 180ºF (82ºC). Hot Mexican Bean Dip 2 15-ounce cans black beans, well drained 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce 1⁄2 cup sour cream 1⁄2 cup salsa 8 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, grated Mash black beans. Add hot pepper sauce, sour cream, salsa, and half of the cheese. Spoon into shallow 1 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350ºF (180ºC) about 15 minutes, or until bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips. Makes 8 appetizer servings. Minute Muffins 1 cup self-rising flour 1⁄2 cup milk 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or sour cream Stir together ingredients. Spoon into greased 6 cup muffin pan. Bake at 450°F (230ºC) for 12 minutes or until done. 8
