Care and Cleaning w WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard. Disconnect power before cleaning. Do not immerse cord, plug, or base in any liquid. Discard tea bags after each use. Rinse and/or clean with soapy water. Towel dry. DISHWASHER-SAFE DO NOT use the "SANI" setting when washing in the dishwasher. "SANI" cycle temperatures could damage your product. If you make iced tea daily, clean with vinegar monthly to prevent hard water mineral deposits. 1 Pour 8 oz. (1 cup/250 ml) vinegar into water reservoir. Place container under filter basket. 2 Press ON (I). Run for 1 minute. Unplug. Let stand 30 minutes. Plug in unit. The unit will automatically turn off when finished. 3 Run 2-3 more brew cycles with CLEAN WATER only. Allow to cool between cycles. Unplug. 4 Wash the inside of the brew chamber with hot, soapy water. Rinse inside well. DO NOT LET ANY SOAPY WATER GET INTO THE WATER RESERVOIR. 5 840222800 ENv02.indd 5 2/27/13 8:35 AM
