Display Icons Regular strength coffee How to Use the Hot Water Function BOLD strength coffee Hot water side ON. Coffee maker side ON. 1-4 Cups If the hot water icon is on and this message is displayed, then the hot water side needs cold water added. Icon will flash when the heater turns on and is also displayed when delayed start is programmed. 1 2 Open water reservoir lid. Fill reservoir with water to MAX fill line. Initial fill will require 48 ounces (1.4 L). 3 4 Lower lid. Press I/O (ON/OFF) to heat the water. The button illuminates blue, the hot water ON icon is displayed on the control display, and water begins to heat. When water reaches temperature, the READY light illuminates green. Water keeps hot for 2 hours and unit will shut off automatically. Place your mug, bowl, or carafe against the hot water lever to dispense. 5
