Use the following technique to fill the icing bag. 1 2 Turn the bag so that the outer edge folds over your hand. Place desired tip in the bottom of the bag and push firmly into the pointed end of the bag. 3 Fill the bag with icing and push it down into the bag by squeezing. Snip off the excess until the tip is exposed. TIP: If icing is too thick, it can be thinned by mixing in just a little bit of milk-start with less than a teaspoon as it thins quickly.
