However, wine experts suggest that the ideal serving temperature for champagne is 43ºF, blush wines are 40 to 44ºF, white wines are 45 to 50ºF, red wines are 57 to 67ºF, and sake rice wines are 122ºF. Refrigerators chill wine to a temperature of approximately 37ºF. Therefore, wine stored in the refrigerator is too cold for optimum serving temperatures and wine stored at room temperature is too warm for ideal serving temperature. • The Thermos Wine Chiller will allow you to serve wine at the ideal recommended temperature. However, since serving temperature is subject to personal preference, experimentation will help you to find your perfect serving temperature. • Setting 10 is a heat setting that is indicated by a red light. 4 5
