DIAL SCALE Your FESTIVAL 3 utilizes a rotary dial scale to provide sharp illumination of AM and FM stations. The AM and FM scales are illuminated individually to provide optimum visibility and can also serve as the function indicator for the AM or FM mode. "ON" STATION INDICATOR In place of the conventional tuning meter to determine if you are ON or OFF a station your FESTIVAL 3 has incorporated a computer-type tuning indicator. As you tune from station to station in the automatic tuning mode this tuning indicator (green light) will be illuminated only when you are "locked in" on the station you select. It will not react to interference, noise, side band response, etc., but only to the center of the transmitted signal.
