REFERENCE CARD Detach this card and keep it near your remote for reference until you become familiar with the VPM500 controls. Off- Video A Video B RGB Volume Balance Mute Stereo Hy-Son Color Convergence Switches the VPM500 to standby. To turn it back on, press VIDEO A, VIDEO B or RGB. Switches from standby to normal and activates your primary video source. Selects a second video source. Switches to the input of a personal computer. Controls loudness of sound. Used to center sound in the middle of the screen. Activate it by pressing TEST and then operating the VOLUME control. Press TEST again to remove cross lines from screen. Turns off sound. To restore sound, press it again. Press this button when using a stereo source. Enhances mono sound and widens the stereo image. Uses the same controls as COLOR/TINT/BRIGHT/CONTRAST. How to reconverge the VPM500's picture: 1. Press the TEST button. 2. Observe the cross lines on the screen. 3. Use the RED H, RED V, BLUE H and BLUE V buttons to produce a single white cross line on the screen. 4. Press the TEST button again to remove the cross line.
