3. With the help of a second person, raise the Frame (55) to 3 the position shown. Hold the Latch Housing (68) and the Latch Housing Cover (5) against the sides of the Frame in the indicated location. Loosely thread the two 1/2" Screws (105) into the Latch Housing Cover and the Latch Housing as shown. Do not tighten the Screws yet. Hole Remove the Latch Knob (67) from the Latch Pin (72). Make sure that the Latch Pin Collars (70) and the Spring (69) are on the Latch Pin. The Latch Pin Collars should be on each side of the Spring. Insert the Latch Pin into the Latch Housing (68), and tighten the Latch Knob onto it. Align the Latch Pin (72) with the hole in the Left Foam Grip (62) by sliding the Latch Housing (68) up or down. Make sure that the Latch Pin can be inserted fully into the hole. Hold the Latch Housing in place as you tighten two 3/4" Screws (40) in the Latch Housing and the Frame (55). Make sure that all parts are properly tightened before you use the treadmill. Place a mat beneath the treadmill to protect the floor or carpet. Latch Housing Cover (5) against the sides of the Frame in
the indicated location. Loosely thread the two 1/2” Screws
(105) into the Latch Housing Cover and the Latch Housing
as shown.
Do not tighten the Screws yet.
Remove the Latch Knob (67) from the Latch Pin (72).
Make sure that the Latch Pin Collars (70) and the Spring
(69) are on the Latch Pin. The Latch Pin Collars should be
on each side of the Spring. Insert the Latch Pin into the
Latch Housing (68), and tighten the Latch Knob onto it.
Align the Latch Pin (72) with the hole in the Left Foam
Grip (62) by sliding the Latch Housing (68) up or down.
Make sure that the Latch Pin can be inserted fully into the
hole. Hold the Latch Housing in place as you tighten two
3/4” Screws (40) in the Latch Housing and the Frame (55).
Tighten the 1/2” Screws (105). Note: It may be necessary
to pull the Latch Knob (67) to reach the Screws.
