HP Plinth Rack Option Kit Installation Instructions About this Device The HP Plinth Rack Option Kit enables you to secure HP 10000 Series racks to the floor. Kit Contents The items and quantities required for installation include: • Plinth front and rear assembly pieces (2) • Plinth side assembly pieces (2) • M8 hex nuts (8) • Internal serrated lock washers (8) • External serrated lock washers (4) • M12 x 25 mm long screws (4) • Eyebolts (4) Tools Required The following tools are required for installation: • M8 hex wrench • M13 socket wrench • T-30 Torx driver Rack Considerations Before beginning these procedures, be sure you follow and understand these precautions: WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the equipment be sure that: • The leveling feet are removed. • The stabilizing feet are removed. • The casters are removed. • The front and rear doors are closed and locked.
