Known issues Issue (Internal): With Adobe Reader V7.0, an incomplete image is printed. Description: The software program generates only a portion of the image. Solution: Use the following procedure to remove the check mark from the Auto-Rotate and Center option in Adobe Reader V7.0: 1. Open the document in Adobe Reader V7.0. 2. Click File. 3. Click Print. 4. Click the Auto-Rotate and Center check box to clear it. Issue (Internal): When a print job is sent from Microsoft Publisher with the HP postscript level 3 emulation driver, the print job either does not print or is missing the images. Description: This HP postscript level 3 emulation driver has Postscript Passthrough enabled by default, and that option must be enabled for most print jobs. This issue occurs because Microsoft Publisher sends postscript information that the driver cannot control. Solution: Use the HP PCL 5 driver or the HP PCL 6 driver. For more information, contact the software vendor. Issue (Internal): When a print job is sent to the printer while it is in sleep mode, an error message is displayed and the message remains even after the print job is printed successfully. Description: This error message is controlled by the Windows print-spooler components. Solution: Move the mouse cursor onto the error message to clear it. For more information, contact the software vendor. Issue (Internal): In the Print Quality group box on the Paper/Quality tab of the Printing Preferences, data loss occurs.
