a. Remove the two display bezel screw covers (1). The display bezel screw covers are included in the Rubber Kit, spare part number 787721-001 for use only on HP Chromebook 14 PC and 788510-001 for use only on HP Chromebook 14 G3. b. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×2.2 broad head screws (2) that secure the display enclosure to the display panel assembly. CAUTION: Before turning the display panel upside down, make sure the work surface is clear of tools, screws, and any other foreign objects. Failure to follow this caution can result in damage to the display panel. c. Turn the display assembly upside down with the top edge toward you. d. Use a case utility tool (1) or similar flat plastic tool to separate the display enclosure from the display panel assembly. e. Lift the top edge of the display enclosure (2) until it separates from the display panel assembly. f. Swing the top edge of the display enclosure (1) up and back until it rests upside down behind the display panel assembly. g. Release the adhesive strip (2) that secures the display panel cable connector to the display panel. h. Disconnect the display panel cable (3) from the display panel. i.
