Workaround: This issue is resolved. • CSCtt02102 Symptom: The feature manager is not responsive and goes into a loop. As a result, interfaces cannot be allocated to the storage VDC on a switch that is running the NPE image. Workaround: This issue is resolved. • CSCtw60186 Symptom: A Cisco MDS 9000 switch that is configured for FICON Tape Acceleration (FTA) might not correctly clear an existing FICON exchange if the proper sequence of Fibre Channel frames that are needed to close the exchange are not seen. This situation can lead to a collision for a scheduled slot and can cause the MSM-18/4 module to reload unexpectedly. This symptom might be seen when a host or control unit does not properly close out an exchange because of some error condition. Workaround: This issue is resolved. • CSCtw75689 Symptom: Following a software upgrade on a switch with a single supervisor, active Port Monitor policies disappear. This symptom occurs only on a single-supervisor switch. Workaround: This issue is resolved. • CSCtw95270 Symptom: A Cisco MDS 9000 switch that is configured for FICON Tape Acceleration (FTA) might not account correctly for an acknowledged exchange that was previously accelerated. This situation can cause the MSM-18/4 module to reload unexpectedly. This symptom might be seen during times when the host is busy and it stacks the status from the tape drive (control unit) until later when it requests status with a "request-status" message.
