HP ProLiant BL c-Class Server Blades An HP Cluster Platform solution can be configured with HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures and HP ProLiant BL c-Class server blades. All server blades include the following features: • High-performance memory • iLO/iLO 2 advanced functionality • Multiple general purpose Gigabit Ethernet network controllers • Optional FC SAN connectivity This section describes the HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosure, HP ProLiant BL c-Class server blades, and other c-Class devices supported with HP Cluster Platform solutions. HP BladeSystem c7000 Enclosure The HP BladeSystem c7000 Enclosure is 10U high and holds up to 16 server blades. The enclosure includes a shared, multi-terabit high-speed midplane for wire-once connectivity of server blades to network and shared storage. Power is delivered through a pooled power backplane that ensures the full capacity of the power supplies is available to all of the server blades.
