Menu item Service ID Sub-menu item Sub-menu Description item Use this item to show the date that the product was first used on the control panel. This eliminates the need for users to keep paper receipts for proof of warranty. Restore the service ID If you replace the formatter, the date is lost. Use this menu item to reset the date to the original date that the product was first used. The date format is YYDDD. Use the following formula to calculate the dates: 1. To calculate YY, subtract 1990 from the calendar year. For instance, if the product was first used in 2002, calculate YY as follows: 2002 - 1990 = 12. YY = 12. 2. Subtract 1 from 10 (October is the tenth month of the year): 10 - 1 = 9. ◦ Multiply 9 by 30: 9 x 30 = 270 or add 17 to ENWW Service mode functions 627
