On a machine that supports an external internet connection, go to the Microsoft website and search on "iSCSI initiator" 2. Select the result that takes you to the Download page and choose the download that is appropriate for your host. 3. Download the iSCSI initiator and install it on the host, accepting all the default settings. The iSCSI Initiator The Microsoft iSCSI initiator contains a number of tabs. This section describes the information that must be provided in order to connect the host to a device on the HP D2D Backup System.
