If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base (see Connecting the tablet to the keyboard base on page 28). 5. Remove the rear cover (see Rear cover on page 29). 6. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 35). 7. Remove the heat sink (see Heat sink on page 38). Remove the speakers: 1. Disconnect the left speaker cable from the system board (1). 2. Release the tape from atop the left speaker (2). 3. Remove the left speaker from the tablet (3). 4. Disconnect the right speaker cable from the system board (1). 5. Release the tape that secures the speaker cable to the tablet (2). 6.
