Battery, Release the battery cable from the retention clip

Battery Description 4-cell, 55-Wh, 3.62-Ah, Li-ion battery (includes cable) Spare part number 844204-855 Before removing the battery, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Bottom cover on page 27). Remove the battery: 1. Disconnect the battery cable (1) from the system board. 2. Release the battery cable from the retention clip (2) built into the keyboard/top cover. 3. Remove the six Phillips M2.0×4.6 screws (3) that secure the battery to the keyboard/top cover. 4. Remove the battery (4). Reverse this procedure to install the battery. Before removing the battery, follow these steps:

Remove the battery
