The reason to have this feature is to maintain consistency between the different FDDI cards, and the ability to manage all the FDDI networks from OpenView management station. 7. Disable of Multicast addresses fails on EISA FDDI. 7. The DLPI ioctl, DL_HP_DISABMULTI would return success, but the multicast address in the CAM on the EISA FDDI card was not getting deleted.
