17. Using a lint-free wipe, clean the cleaning station wiper. Reinstall the cleaning station wiper. 18. Inspect the cleaning station V-seal, O-ring, and belt. 19. If an ILP is installed: a. Run the Wash ILP wizard three times. b. Drain the distilled water/cleaning solution tank. Drain the primer tank. c. Fill the two tanks with warm water. Run the Wash ILP wizard three more times. 20. Clean the outside covers of the press. 21. Fill the ink tanks and reservoirs with clean imaging oil. 22. Save the press parameters configuration (config save). Save the file on the desktop or somewhere else in the customer IT system. 23. Shut down the press and the press computer. 24. Clean the impression roller. 25. Check that there are no obstacles in the EBV air knife and blowers. 26. Clean the nips rollers: one in the feed and two in the exit. 27. If an ILP is installed: a. Verify that the ILP is turned off. b. Clean the nip roller. c. Remove the coating rollers. Clean them. Store them in a protected place. d. Clean the metal rollers around the coating rollers. e. Clean the ILP primer tray. f. Make sure that the return hose is not clogged. g. Check the primer hose and pump. Clean the pump if necessary. h. Remove the Corona electrode from the Corona unit. Do the following: i. Using IPA, clean the ceramic electrode bars and isolators. ii. Using IPA, clean between the ceramic electrode bars. iii. Using IPA, clean the corona carbon brush. iv. Using IPA, clean inside the Corona unit. v. Gently blow air into the generator. i. Reinstall the Corona electrode into the Corona unit. Shutting down the press before a long period 3
