Alternate 230/240 VAC Power Configuration When the 230/240 VAC PDU is to be used without a UPS in the rack, the PDU is shipped with a localized power cord. NOTE Only localized power cords rated 16A will allow the full 16A rating of the PDU to be used. For use with 230/240 VAC power mains, direct connection to a junction box is usually necessary. In this case, an unterminated power cord is supplied. Be sure to obey all local electrical code requirements when connecting to the site electrical power supply.
