This information is subject to change without notice and is provided without warranty. © Copyright 2000, Hewlett-Packard D Quick Reference DIMM Installation • Use up to 8 HP SDRAM DIMMs in sizes of 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB. • DIMMS are supplied in Slots 1A and 1B. • Memory must be added in pairs, one in slot A and one in slot B. • When a pair of DIMMS are added, both must be of the same size. • Maximum system size is 8GB. • Different sizes of approved memory may be used in different slots. • Add paired memory DIMMs in any order to any open slots (2A/B, 3A/B, or 4A/B).
