On the hot swap hard disk drive, press the locking tab down, and lift the lever up as far as it can go. (See Figure 1-3.) 30 seconds for the hard disk drive to stop spinning and the drive heads to park. 4. Use your hand to support the bottom of the hard disk drive, as shown in Figure 1-4.
