Introduction CAUTION: Keep hands out of paper trays when closing. All trays must be closed when moving the printer. Load paper trays The following information describes how to load paper into the input tray. NOTE: To avoid paper jams: ● Never add or remove paper from the tray during printing. ● Before loading the tray, remove all of the paper from the input tray and straighten the stack. ● When loading the tray, do not fan the paper. ● Use paper that is not wrinkled, folded, or damaged. Input tray Load media with the top forward and the side to be printed on facing up. To prevent jams and skewing, always adjust the side guides. NOTE: When you add new media, make sure that you remove all of the media from the input tray and straighten the entire stack. Load paper trays
