Downloading the MSA 2040 VSS Hardware Provider NOTE: If you downloaded the MSA 2040 VSS Hardware Provider along with the MSA 2040 CAPI Proxy and MSA 2040 VDS Hardware Provider as described in "Downloading the MSA 2040 VDS Hardware Provider" on page 6, you can skip this section and go directly to "Installing the MSA 2040 CAPI Proxy" on page 14. Download the MSA 2040 CAPI Proxy and MSA 2040 VSS Hardware Provider that is appropriate for your operating system. Installing the MSA 2040 CAPI Proxy This section describes how to install the MSA 2040 CAPI Proxy. Install the downloaded software in the following order: • MSA 2040 CAPI Proxy • MSA 2040 VDS Hardware Provider • MSA 2040 VSS Hardware Provider The MSA 2040 CAPI Proxy is prerequisite for VDS and for VSS. Install the MSA 2040 CAPI Proxy as shown: 1. Run the executable downloaded from the HP website to begin the installation. 2. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the software.
