HP PC Commercial BIOS (UEFI) Setup July 2020 919946-004 8.8 Built-in Device Options Menu This menu provides settings for built-in devices on the system. Table 53 Built-in Device Options Menu features Feature Embedded LAN Controller Type Setting Description When checked, enables the integrated network controller. Default Checked Notes Wake on LAN LAN Controller Option (1) (2) Setting Setting Allows the system to wake via Local Area Network (LAN). The following settings are possible: • Disabled • Boot to Network • Boot to Hard Drive When checked, enables the integrated network controller in the designated rear option slot. Boot to Network Checked Select products only Allow No Panel configuration Setting When checked, allows operation of the AiO 1000 base unit without a boot warning for no panel attached. Checked AiO 1000 only Integrated Video Setting When unchecked, disables the integrated video device. When not using the integrated video, disabling the integrated video will free some system memory. Checked Desktop with discrete graphics card only VGA Boot Device Video Memory Size Setting Setting The firmware can use only one graphics device when booting up; so when there are multiple graphics devices, this feature selects the graphics controller to use as the primary VGA device during boot-up. • Integrated graphics • Add-in graphics cards (select products only) System memory reserved for video before loading the OS. Settings vary by platform and generation.
