Remove the TouchPad, Phillips PM1.5×2.3 screws

TouchPad Description TouchPad (includes cable) Spare part number 833715-001 Before removing the TouchPad, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 19). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 21). Remove the TouchPad: 1. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the TouchPad cable is attached, and then disconnect the TouchPad cable from the system board. 2. Remove the five Phillips PM1.5×2.3 screws (2) that secure the TouchPad to the top cover. TouchPad 27

Before removing the TouchPad, follow these steps:
1.
