NAS Management MMC has wrong link for Local Users and Groups Task When the desktop shortcut HP StorageWorks NAS Management MMC is run and the local users and groups is selected, a message is displayed: Unable to access the computer HPNAS. The error was: Access denied. This is due to the wrong link entered into the NAS Management MMC. To access Users and Groups, right-click my computer and select manage. The standard MMC will appear. Select Users and Groups. HP System Management Help Page Displays incorrect Text The Help text on the HP Utilities page under the HP system management link states that in order to get to the HP system management page, type: http://server-ip:2301. This will lead to a displayed error page : Unable to complete your request due to added security features. The page will redirect to the correct port. The help text is in error and should read https://server-ip:2381 for secure port. When Internet Explorer opens it tries to navigate to the Microsoft Website When Internet Explorer is used on the local NAS desktop, it may attempt to access the Microsoft web site and a site not found error displays. When opening Internet Explorer, the default page on the local desktop should be the Web UI. Closing the browser and opening it again will correct the issue. NAS 2000s Release Notes 13
