2 SNMP Group SNMP Group Implementation of the SNMP group is mandatory for all systems that support an SNMP protocol entity. Some of the objects defined next are zero-valued in those SNMP implementations that are optimized to support only those functions specific to either a management agent or a management station. All of the objects that follow refer to an SNMP entity, and there might be several SNMP entities residing on a managed node (for example, if the node is acting as a management station). snmpInPkts 1.3.6.1.2.1.11.1 The total number of messages delivered to the SNMP entity from the transport service. snmpOutPkts 1.3.6.1.2.1.11.2 The total number of SNMP messages that were passed from the SNMP protocol entity to the transport service. snmpInBadVersions 1.3.6.1.2.1.11.3 The total number of SNMP messages that were delivered to the SNMP protocol entity and were for an unsupported SNMP version. snmpInBadCommunityNames 1.3.6.1.2.1.11.4 The total number of SNMP messages delivered to the SNMP protocol entity that used a SNMP community name not known to said entity. snmpInBadCommunityUses 1.3.6.1.2.1.11.5 The total number of SNMP messages delivered to the SNMP protocol entity that represented an SNMP operation that was not allowed by the SNMP community named in the message. snmpInASNParseErrs 1.3.6.1.2.1.11.6 The total number of ASN.1 or BER errors encountered by the SNMP protocol entity when decoding received SNMP messages. Note 1.3.6.1.2.1.11.7 is not used. snmpInTooBigs 1.3.6.1.2.1.11.8 The total number of SNMP PDUs that were delivered to the SNMP protocol entity and for which the value of the error-status field is "tooBig." 2-32 Fabric OS MIB Reference Publication Number: 53-1000241-01
