Skip to "Installing the Controller Module" on page 336 1. Using proper antistatic handling precautions, remove the replacement controller module from the packing material. 2. Note
If you are upgrading a single controller disk array by installing an add-on
A5278A Controller Module, you do not need to perform the following
procedure. Skip to
"Installing the Controller Module" on page 336
1.
Using proper antistatic handling precautions, remove the replacement controller
module from the packing material.
2.
Place the new controller on an antistatic mat.
3.
Attach the grounding wrist strap to your wrist and ground the other end to the controller
enclosure.
