Front fan kit installation Front fan kit installation This document describes how to install a front fan in an HP workstation. The front fan provides extra cooling for full-length PCI cards. Kit contents The kit for your workstation includes the following components: ■ Front fan ■ Installation instructions ■ Warranty Before you begin See www.hp.com/accessories/workstations to determine the compatibility of this product with your HP workstation. ✎ This optional front chassis fan is recommended only if it is required for non-factory-integrated high power PCI cards. When this fan is installed, HP recommends that you verify that the temperatures of the PCI card and other components are within the limits recommended by the component suppliers.
