HP Mini-White Paper Rack Mounting Kits for the Z400, Z600, and Z800 Workstations Introduction: The Rack Mount Kit for the Z400 uses a tray to hold the unit, and L-shaped rails that attach to the rack. This rack kit is the same one that was used for the xw4x00 series workstations, but was modified to work with the Z400 also. The Rack Mount Kit for the Z600 and Z800 Workstations combines the best features of the old rack kits for the xw6x00 and xw8x00 Workstations. The Z600 and Z800 workstations were designed with enterprise-class rack mounting as an objective, so the chassis were designed to be just the right size, and include the necessary mounting features. Key Product Features - Z400 Rack Kit (EK729AA): This kit consists of two L-shaped rails that attach to the rack to provide support for the unit, and a tray that mounts to the computer such that it sets on the rails, and is secured to the rack using the mounting flanges on the tray. The rails are adjustable to accommodate racks that are 24 - 30 inches deep. This kit is also used for the xw4x00 series workstations.
