Backing up your information regularly helps you reduce the chance of losing any of your information. Hint: When installing applications, look for the correct version for the Compaq iPAQ

Pocket PC.

Hint: Install important applications to the iPAQ File Store folder located in the File Explorer

on your Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC. Applications in iPAQ File Store are held in ROM and will

not be lost if you perform a hard reset of your Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC or if the battery loses

its charge. iPAQ File Store can store between 5 and 6 MB of information.

Back up and restore using Microsoft ActiveSync 3.5

Back up information to your computer and restore information from your computer to your

Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC. Backing up your information regularly helps you reduce the

chance of losing any of your information. Restoring your information replaces the current

information on your Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC with the information saved in your backup.
