PICTURE-IN-PICTURE (PIP) mode (SX models only) is chosen. When used in SPLIT PIP mode, only the right subpicture is frozen (Left sub-picture remains active). 5 FREEZE (FRZ) button (With PIP OFF) Press the "FRZ" button without a sub-picture and a screen appears which allows you to use CURSOR , to select which type of FREEZE mode you wish to view (SINGLE, STROBE, SPLIT, or MAIN for SX models and SINGLE or STROBE for UX models). SINGLE FREEZE Press the "FRZ" button a second time to freeze one frame of the picture you are currently viewing. Press this button again or "PIP" to return to normal viewing. STROBE FREEZE Press the "FRZ" button a second time to freeze several frames of the picture you are currently viewing (Seven frames for SX models and four frames for UX models). Press this button again or "PIP" to return to normal viewing. This feature is useful for viewing a moving picture that has many details, for example, a close play in a sporting event or golf swing. (MV7, SX models only) (MV4, UX models only) SPLIT FREEZE (SX models only) Press the "FRZ" button a second time to freeze one frame of the picture you are currently viewing (Only the sub-picture will freeze). Press this button again or "PIP" to return to normal viewing. 33
