To disconnect, turn all controls to the 'OFF' position, then remove plug from outlet. • Not for use by children. • D O NOT reach for an appliance that has fallen in water or other liquids. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid. • T his product has an internal, non-user replaceable lithium battery. Recycle or dispose of battery properly in accordance with all local, state, province, and country regulations. If you experience skin irritation, or hand discomfort when using this product, discontinue use. If a more extreme reaction occurs, consult your doctor. • Individuals with pacemakers and pregnant women should consult a doctor before using this appliance. Not recommended for use by Diabetics. • DO NOT use on an infant, invalid or on a sleeping or unconscious person. DO NOT use on insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation. • If the product feels excessively hot, turn off and contact the HoMedics Service Center. • This is a non-professional appliance and is not intended to treat medical conditions of the skin. Do not use as a substitute for medical attention. • This product should NEVER be used by any individual suffering from any ailments that would limit the user's capacity to operate the controls. Microdermabrasion is NOT recommended if you have any of the following conditions: • Lesions, warts, or recent herpes outbreak • Sunburn or sun sores • Active rosacea • Auto-immune disorders • Skin cancer • Vascular lesions • Any open wounds, sores, or cuts • Taking oral blood thinners (anti-coagulants) 2 3
