For additional USB programming and technical information, refer to Honeywell "USB Application Note," available at www.honeywellaidc.com Note: Without using the 9-volt external, power supply, the base only uses enough power from the host to operate the interface. The image scanner's battery is not charged when in this mode. Using the 9-volt, external power supply allows the image scanner's battery to be charged, and no power is drawn from the host. IBM SurePos Scan one of the following "Plug and Play" codes to program the 3820/3820i for IBM SurePos (USB Hand Held image scanner) or IBM SurePos (USB Tabletop scanner). Note: After scanning one of these codes, you must power cycle the cash register.
