Backup, restoration, and update For details about how to connect your phone to a USB storage device, see Connecting your phone to a USB storage device. Restoring data from the local storage 1. On the home screen, touch Tools > . 2. Select the backup file you want to restore. You can use the file's backup time as a reference. 3. If the backup file has been encrypted, enter the password when prompted, and touch OK. 4. Select the data you want to restore, and touch RESTORE. Restoring data from a USB storage device Connect the USB storage device to your phone using a USB OTG cable. Make sure your phone can detect the USB storage device. 1. On the home screen, touch Tools > . 2. Touch > Back up to external USB storage. 3. Select the backup file you want to restore. You can use the file's backup time as a reference. 4. If the backup file has been encrypted, enter the password when prompted, and touch OK. 5. Select the data you want to restore, and touch RESTORE.
