3. Select the wireless network that is configured in Step 2, and then click Connect in the lower right corner of the window. 4. In the displayed dialog box, enter the access password that is preset in Step 2, and then click Connect. After the password is verified, Connected appears on the icon of the wireless network in the wireless network list, which indicates that the computer is connected to the HG536a through a wireless connection. 5 Handset Registration You can register up to five handsets to your host. The HG536a assigns a name to each handset according to the registration order of the handsets. For example, the name assigned to the first handset that is registered is HS 1, and in standby mode, the name HS 1 is displayed on the LCD of that handset. If you want to register the handset, do as follows: Step 1 Pressing the Page button on the side panel of the host until the Phone indicator blinks, and then release the button. Step 2 Within one minute, register the handset to the host. 1. press on the handset to display the main menu. 2. Press or repeatedly to select Registration, and then press . 3. Press or repeatedly to select the Base with which you want the handset to register, and then press . 4. Enter the registration code (0000 by default), and then press . If the registration is successful, the handset will return to the standby mode and the handset number (for example, HS 1) will be displayed on the LCD of the handset. 7
