10 Handy applications 10.1 Calendar You can use the Calendar to create and manage events such as meetings and appointments. Touch Calendar on the Applications screen to open it. The current and following day's events are shown on the event widget on the Home screen. 10.2 Weather The Weather application displays the weather forecast of your specified location. The weather information is summarized in the Weather widget on the Home screen and you can touch it to view more details. Touch the temperature scale icon to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit as you want. 10.3 RSS Reader The RSS Reader lists top news stories about common topics. The RSS Reader widget on your Home screen lists a category of top headlines, touch it to open a list of the top stories in the news and scroll to touch the category of news you are interested in. 10.4 Memo Touch Memo on the Home screen or on the Applications screen to make text notes or drawing notes. 10.5 Alarm Clock You can touch Clock on the Home screen or on the Applications screen to open a screen where you can set the alarm time and other attributes. 53
