Page 20 highlights

MAINTENANCE Cleaning the air filter Close the choke valve by moving the choke control up. Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Wash it clean in warm, soapy water. Clean also the inside of the filter cover by using air or a brush. Ensure that the filter is dry before refitting it. Remove the Felt filter from the filter holder and gently brush debris from the filter. Check the rubber sealing surface. Change the filter on the rubber seal if damaged. An air filter that has been in use for a long time cannot be cleaned completely. The filter must therefore be replaced with a new one at regular intervals. A damaged air filter must always be replaced. Damaged, very dirty, or fuelsoaked air filter must always be replaced. Bevel gear The bevel gear is filled with the right quantity of grease at the factory. However, before using the machine you should check that the bevel gear is filled three-quarters full with grease. Use HUSQVARNA special grease. The grease in the bevel gear does not normally need to be changed except if repairs are carried out. CAUTION! Use only HUSQVARNA replacement parts. Use of other brands of replacement parts can cause damage to your unit or injury to the operator or others. Your warranty does not cover damage or liability caused by the use of accessories and/or attachments not specifically recommended by HUSQVARNA. 20 - English
