• Maintain or replace safety and instruction labels, as necessary. • Clear debris from movable parts, but only when the power source is shut off. DO NOT spray water to clean unit. • Check to be sure all nuts and bolts are tight to assure the equipment is in safe working condition. • For extended storage, clean unit thoroughly. See engine manual for proper storage. • ALWAYS remove spark plug wire from spark plug before inspecting or working on this unit. • DO NOT touch unit parts which might be hot from operation. Allow parts to cool before attempting to maintain, adjust or service. • Stop and inspect equipment if there is an unusual vibration. Repair, if necessary, before restarting. Never make adjustments or repairs without first disconnecting the spark plug wire. • Check attachment components frequently. If worn or damaged, replace with manufacturer's recommended parts. • ALWAYS keep protective structures, guards, and panels in good repair, in place and securely fastened.
