Emission Control System This equipment and/or its engine may include exhaust and evaporative emissions control system components required to meet U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and/ or California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations. Tampering with emission controls and components by unauthorized personnel may result in severe fines or penalties. Emission controls and components can only be adjusted by a Husqvarna dealer or an authorized engine manufacturer's service center. Contact a Husqvarna dealer concerning emission controls and components. General In this operator's manual, left and right, backward and forward are used in relation to the machine's normal driving direction. Transport on Public Roads Check applicable road traffic regulations before transporting on public roads. If the machine is transported, you must always use approved fastening equipment and ensure that the machine is well anchored. Operating This machine is constructed only for mowing grass on lawns and even ground without obstacles such as stones or tree stumps. All other types of uses are incorrect. The manufacturer's directions concerning operation, maintenance, and repairs must be carefully followed. Lawn mowers and all power equipment can be potentially dangerous if used improperly. Safety requires good judgement, careful use in accordance with these instructions and common sense. The machine must only be operated, maintained, and repaired by persons familiar with the machine's special characteristics and who are also knowledgeable about the safety instructions.
