When operating with a heavy load or at high ambient temperatures, replace at 50 hour intervals. 2) In dusty conditions, cleaning and replacement are required more frequently. 3) Performed by authorized service workshop. 4) If equipped. IMPORTANT INFORMATION The mower is equipped with a 12-volt negative grounded system. The other vehicle must also be a 12-volt negative grounded system. Do not use your mower to start other vehicles. CAUTION! Always wear eye protection when around batteries. WARNING! Some replacement batteries may differ from OEM battery. Always ensure the RED battery cable is connected to the positive (+) battery terminal and the BLACK cable is connected to the negative (-) battery terminal. WARNING! Do not short battery terminals by allowing a wrench or other objects to contact both terminals at the same time. Before connecting battery, remove metal bracelets, wristwatch bands, rings, etc. Positive terminal must be connected first to prevent sparks from accidental grounding. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Before restarting the unit, be sure to replace guards that have been removed for maintence. 22
