Dual Purpose Forms Device (F2). A forms feeding option which, when selected, automatically stops continuous forms at the perforation. This enables the printed form to be torn off before the next sheet begins to be printed. F feature. A particular part of an IBM product that a customer can order separately. feed roller. See right roller assembly. forms tension knob. Blue knob used to adjust the setting on the forms tension lever on the F1 forms device. forms tension lever. Blue guide used to align the left edge of a form, detecting the last form feed past it, and detecting paper jams. lines per inch (LPI). The number of lines of text or graphics that can be placed in one inch. lower forms guide.
