Required SMI-S providers
IBM Director requires storage devices to support SMI-S 1.1 or higher.
5.20 Update 1 and earlier: DS300 and DS400
The required SMI-S 1.1 providers from Adaptec are embedded in these
storage devices.
DS3200, DS3300, DS3400, and DS4000
SANtricity SMI Provider from LSI, which complies with SMI-S version 1.1,
is required. You can obtain this provider from the LSI Web site at
www.lsi.com/storage_home/products_home/external_raid/
management_software/smis_provider/index.html.
DS6000
You can obtain the appropriate SMI-S 1.1 provider from the Web at
www.ibm.com/servers/storage/support/software/cimdsoapi/
downloading.html.
Brocade switches
You can obtain the appropriate SMI-S 1.1 provider from the Web at
www.brocade.com/support/SMIAGENT.jsp.
QLogic switches
The required QLogic provider version 1.02 is embedded in the switch.
