2 SUPPLIED ACCESSORIES AND ATTACHMENTS ï Battery pack To remove the battery pack: Turn the screw counter clockwise one quarter turn, then pull the battery pack in the direction of the arrow as shown below. 4 BASIC OPERATION ■ Channel selection IMPORTANT!: Prior to using the transceiver for the first time, the battery pack must be fully charged for optimum life and operation. 5 SCAN OPERATION ■ Scan types Scanning is an efficient way to locate signals quickly over a wide frequency range. The transceiver has priority scan and normal scan. In addition, the weather alert and auto scan functions are available for standby convenience. These functions can be activated - Icom IC-M36 | Instruction Manual - Page 21
