6 MENU SCREEN ■■ Function Auto Power OFF (Default: OFF) [MENU] > Function > Auto Power OFF Select whether or not to automatically turn OFF the receiver after inactivity for this set period of time. LL "AUTO POWER OFF" is displayed and beeps sound 5 seconds before turning OFF the receiver. If you operate the receiver during this period of time, the Auto Power OFF timer is reset. ••OFF: Does not turn OFF the receiver. ••30/60/90/120min: T urns OFF the receiver after inactivity for this set period of time. ••No Signal: The receiver will turn OFF when no signal is continuously received for 3 minutes. Power Save (Default: Auto (Short)) [MENU] > Function > Power Save Set the Power Save function to reduce current drain and conserve battery power. When the Power Save function is activated, the call sign or the beginning of the signal may not be received correctly. ••OFF: Turns OFF the function. ••Auto (Short): This function is activated in a 1:3 ratio (10 milliseconds: 30 milliseconds) when no signal is received for 5 seconds. ••Auto (Middle): This function is activated in a 1:3 ratio (10 milliseconds: 30 milliseconds) when no signal is received for 5 seconds. *1 The ratio becomes 1:10 (10 milliseconds: 100 milliseconds) when no signal is received for another 30 seconds. ••Auto (Long): This function is activated in a 1:3 ratio (10 milliseconds: 30 milliseconds) when no signal is received for 5 seconds. *2 The ratio becomes 1:30 (10 milliseconds: 300 milliseconds) when no signal is received for another 30 seconds. NOTE: The Power Save function is disabled when using an external power source, or if the receiving mode is set to LSB, USB, CW, or CW-R.
