6 MENU SCREEN ■■Function (Continued) Monitor (Default: Push) [MENU] > Function > Monitor Select an option for the [SQL] Monitor function. (BASIC MANUAL Section 3) ••Push: Hold down [SQL] to monitor the frequency. Release to stop monitoring. ••Hold: Push [SQL] momentarily to monitor the frequency and push momentarily again to cancel it. Dial Speed-UP (Default: ON) [MENU] > Function > Dial Speed-UP Turn the Dial Speed Acceleration ON or OFF. The acceleration automatically speeds up the tuning dial speed when you rapidly rotate [DIAL]. ••OFF: Turns OFF the function. ••ON: Turns ON the function. Key Lock (Default: Normal) [MENU] > Function > Key Lock Select the key lock type when the Key Lock function is ON. ••Normal: All keys and dials except [SQL] and [VOL] are locked. ••No SQL: All keys and dials except [SQL] is locked. ••No VOL: All keys and dials except [VOL] is locked. ••ALL: All keys and dials are locked. Active Band (Default: All) [MENU] > Function > Active Band Enables continuous frequency selection of the receive frequency across all bands using [DIAL]. LL This setting does not affect the scan. ••Single: When you change the frequency on the band edge, the top or bottom frequency in the displayed band is selected. ••ALL: When you change the frequency, the next band is displayed. Set the selectable frequencies on the receiver to all bands for continuous selection. Bar Antenna (Default: Use) [MENU] > Function > Bar Antenna Select whether or not to use the internal bar antenna to receive the AM broadcast band (0.495 ~ 1.620 MHz). LL The Attenuator does not work, when using the bar antenna (BASIC MANUAL Section 3). ••Not used: Does not use the internal bar antenna. ••Use: Uses the internal bar antenna. (The bar antenna is used for only the AM broadcast band.) 6-19
